Universal Studios - day one

Tuesday 1st May.

Today was the first day that we started using our 14 day pass for Universal, as all the websites say to avoide parks like the plague on  Friday - Monday.

So Tuesday we headed to  Universal Studios.  We got there for 9am open, paid our $14 parking for the day and were directed right to our spot. Our parking was Cat in the hat and Row 460. I'm glad I decided to take pictures of where we parked, because by the end of the day I really couldn't remember where we parked.

Walking down the main street while we waited for shows to start running.

 The facads for the shops were awesome

There was an old school dinner with old school cars.

There was a dude with an awesome pet owl..

 Who scared the hell out of Sian because wher we tried to take the first pic he turned around and looked straight at her.. She eventually wanted to go back and get her pic taken with it.

We found sponge bob and got a picture with him... even though he is the worst character in the world lol

 While we were waiting in line we spied a hat shop with some cool hats that we thought we would try on.... I'm kicking myself for not getting the Pharaoh hat

 We get into the terminator two show, and there are theatrics all out... this was the only picture as you arn't allowed to take any pictures...

 we then went to the make up and special effects show, here is a picture of the set...

We stumbled across the kwik e mart

They had flaming Moe energy drinks...

And the donuts from the simpsons... ( I think they are really dunkin donuts)

I did a stint working at the kwiki mart....

 and Nando as well...

 We ran into Nelson

 Lunch time and we made a massive burger and everyone said I couldnt take a bite... and I did and it was awesome.

The coke machines have over 100 flavours to try....

 The car from despicable me... It is a new ride they are opening later on this year

 I dont remeber what we had for dinner or what else we did that day... Slack I know. It probably involved the pool and sleeping
